Description
OBU Centennial Moments is a series of 23 short videos created to celebrate the centennial of Oklahoma Baptist University. The videos were created in 2010 to offer a glimpse of various aspects of life on Bison Hill since its inception. They reveal how OBU adopted "Ka-Rip" as the school's yell, at what time hundreds of men lived in WMU Dormitory, how 60 acres of wild golden coreopsis influenced the school colors and other details of the university's 100-year history.
A new video was shown during mandatory campus chapel services over the course of the 2010 academic year. The videos were also shown at various campus and community events, are posted on the university's website and aired on the public access cable channel on Allegiance Cable in Shawnee, OK
